Digger Cake

For months and months before his 3rd birthday, Kaiden was set on what sort of cake he wanted - a Digger cake! It was Brett's sculpting skills that brought this masterpiece to life. Kaiden loved it and was telling everyone all about it, right down to the chocolate rocks in the scoop and the fires (candles) on the back.

I'm very impressed! Especially love the rocks.

My imagination would have resulted in a normal cake with a matchbox digger on top!

Have you got a copy of the book 'Tip, tip, Dig, dig' by Emma Garcia? Look for it at the library or buy it online at www.bookdepositry.co.uk!

This looks great. Well done to both of you - carving then trying to keep the icing neat over the carved bits is also hard.

Has Kaptain K read Little Yellow Digger by Betty & Alan Gilderdale? Its about a digger that gets stuck during rain, and they have to get a bigger digger, then a bigger bigger digger to pull it out. All of whole get stuck. Its a great book and Australian.
