Little Butterflies

I love how I can dig out old patterns and knit them up again. The Ravelry website is a great place for storing them and I may have them all tagged by ply, type and gender/age. Using some delicious Woolganics yarn, five year on from my first Little Butterflies, I have knitted up another little cardigan, this time in a size  6 months.

Below is the version I made in 2011.

First made in 2011 Another little knit, this time in a teeny tiny newborn size - so cute and so quick to finish. I knitted this mostly in the hours waiting for surgery and I'm not a particularly quick knitter so I hope this shows how easy this pattern is to follow. You probably can't see from the photo but the top of the cardigan features little butterflies which are knitted into the garment. Hard to explain, but easy to do as you knit along. A must-do knit for any little girl, and this one goes up to size 10. Highly recommended! The pattern was again designed by Tikki (Georgie Hallam) and uses Fibreworks hand-dyed yarn.
