This is a bit adventurous for me with a project using stranded colourwork for a knitted beanie using one of my favourite yarns, Woolganics. The pattern, Marius hats - scull, heart, smiley, was free from the Ravelry website. I added in quite a few extra rows to give it some more height to fit an eight year old but next time I will knit in the recommended needle sizing (I went down to a 4mm as I prefer this for Woolganics) so it is a slightly larger fit.
Even with the pattern, it was an easy knit and I will be making again to build up a stash of birthday presents. Mr K really liked it although I think it could have been a slightly larger (and/or Mr K could have worn it more forward).
