We used a playpen for camping only - handy when setting up/pulling down or when you need to keep a little one in safe place. Except this one tried to break out...
Kaiden and his buddy Luke played together all weekend, and even then we came home he asked if he could go over to his place.

Sooo cold!! You are crazy!! We went camping in Kenilworth as kids...such great memories you are making for your boys!
Looks and sounds like you had a great time -we have to get out camping again - yes I think that we are mad as well. Took the kids out in the double canoe the other week for the first time and they both had a ball.
