Easter
Sorry these posts are out of date order and it's a bit of a catch-up time. At Easter we went camping, Harry included, down at Flanaghan's Reserve near Rathdowney. We had a great time with some swimming, playing in the dirt (Kaiden) and lots of eating. Kaiden had his first taste of chocolate and loved it with a Rocky Road Easter egg made by his Nana and marshmellow bunnies made by his Daddy.
Sewing #6
Not the best photo, but this is the softie I rejected for the Softie swap I'm part of on the forum Essential Baby. I'm making a softie for a lady with two children, a boy and a girl. I tried this softie pattern called "Mad Dog" (because the dog has a scar instead of one eye, and big teeth!). I didn't like how the ears turned out so I'm going to put it away to give to Kaiden at Christmas. I've made something else but won't share yet until the swap is completed.

Quick update
Still lots of photos to load on...plus I have made three softies plus nearly finished two scrap pages so I better get onto that.....
But the big question is where is my baby going?
Kaiden is walking confidently (except when he still decides it is still quicker to crawl), nearly needs a hair cut, says words like "garden" and "light", knows EXACTLY what he wants like the cake on the bench or the fridge to stay open, or to keep his fingers in the pantry PLUS today at daycare the carers asked Brett if it was OK to start trying his naps on the mat as soon he will be moving up to the toddler room. WHAT? No more baby room for him soon. He will just love that being with the big kids. AND in swimming he is diving under the water and will soon start lessons in the pool by himself (with Daddy on the side). He is growing up too quickly. Soon it will be driving lessons and nights out with his friends.
