Here's my Cameo Koala getting farewell kisses from Kaiden before going to her new home. She is extremely cute and adds to the tribe of Funky Friends patterns that we have made and given away.

EB New Year Swap 2010 sent

Here's part of what I sent to Becanne - Mitch the Monkey. The idea was to make something from a list of three. Bec's list of three was more like a list of 20, quite long and open and I deliberated for a while on what to make. In the end I decided to make a softie for her little boy, Jack. Jordan loved Mitch too and before he was packed up for his new home he gave him a good wrestle. It was hard to let him go. Mitch was made using a Funky Friends pattern and I see that Pauline now has kits in store which is a great idea as it can be hard to find fleece in Brisbane during summer. I made a little bag for Mitch to travel in on his journey to Jack's place, for Jack to use either as a library bag or whatever. I accidently deleted the other photos I took before they went so I have "stolen" the first two photos from Bec's blog. Check out the action shot of Mitch on the bike on Bec's blog!

Felt food!!!

These are truely good enough to eat...hand-made from felt by me! Everytime I see the doughnuts I get hungry. I made a couple of each type to give away as presents and a set for Kaiden to cook with.

Sewing #6

Not the best photo, but this is the softie I rejected for the Softie swap I'm part of on the forum Essential Baby. I'm making a softie for a lady with two children, a boy and a girl. I tried this softie pattern called "Mad Dog" (because the dog has a scar instead of one eye, and big teeth!). I didn't like how the ears turned out so I'm going to put it away to give to Kaiden at Christmas. I've made something else but won't share yet until the swap is completed.

*and this amazing Hedgie plus a pattern for robot softies for his Mummy to make from Billy, Nerida and Mackenzie. The hedgie was handmade by the talented crafty Mum Nerida. The wool is so soft and the colours just wonderful!
